A visit needs to be scheduled for the dog(s). This benefits everyone --
we can make sure the dogs all get a long; the visiting dog gets
acquainted with the situation before being left there; the dog owner
sees the environment and gets acquainted with the sitter; and the sitter
can get acquainted with the dog owner and the dog(s).
An information form provided during the visit or available on line,
needs to be completed.
Proof of current immunization including Kennel Cough, shown as
Bordetella in your dog's records, must be provided.

With rare exceptions, only 4 dogs are taken at a time. Including to the 2
Labs in residence, this creates a just right size play group of 6 dogs and
allows individual attention by the sitter.

We have a large 6 foot high fence surrounding a common area for the dogs to
play in. Food and sleeping quarters are in the owner's home making
everyone one big family. While the average size of visiting dogs tends to
be medium to large, smaller dogs, e.g., Bichons can be segregated from
larger dogs if necessary. Dogs may be taken swimming after the sitter feels
confident the dog will respond appropriately.

Dogs trained with universal commands: Come, stay, out (as in spit it out),
and leave it (as in leave that disgusting thing alone) are appreciated but
any version of those commands will be accepted. Basic obedience is
reinforced by the sitter.

Grooming arrangements may be made for them during their stay, but must be
indicated FAR in advance.

Dogs may arrive or be picked up anytime between 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM.

Food must be provided by the owner.

All sitting fees are per calendar day regardless of how much of the day is
used.

Special issue dogs: We prefer social dogs who get along well with other dogs, however, less social dogs may be considered after a more thorough discussion and the initial meeting. Dogs with medical issues are accepted with previous discussions of requirements. There may be an additional fee for dogs requiring any kind of special attention.

Any dog who displays hostility towards the sitter will not be accepted.

Sitting fees are $25 per dog per calendar day

We provide pickup and return to minimize traffic. This is preferable to you dropping off and picking up. However, my schedule or your schedule or extenuating circumstances may make this undesirable.

Pickup starts at 7 AM and ends at 8:30 AM Return starts at 6:00 and ends at 7:30 PM.

Drop off schedule: Early morning drop off by request 6:30 - 7 AM only.

Late evening drop off or pickup by request 7:00 -9:00 PM

Any change needed in scheduling will be considered but must be discussed atleast 24 hours prior to pick up or drop off time.
